代々木八幡宮・代々木公園のすぐそば。窓からは緑を望むことができ、 都会の中にありながら自然の静けさ・穏やかさを感じられる場所でのマンションリノベーション計画です。

40㎡程の広さの中に元々設けられていた間仕切り壁を撤去し、 窓からの採光が部屋全体に取り入れられる少し余白を持たせたひと続きの空間へと再構築を行いました。

天候や時間帯によって変化する自然光は、住まいに移ろいや表情を与えます。

床には肌触り・踏み心地の良いウールカーペットを採用。 柔らかな繊維の感触は床に座って過ごすという日本の暮らしに馴染み、どこか懐かしい感覚を呼び起こします。 ソファやチェアといった定位置だけではなく、部屋全体がひとつの居場所となることを目指しました。 また、空間に適度な余白を持たせることによって、家具などのレイアウトが限定されることなく、 コンパクトな中にも住まい手の個性を反映してほしいという想いを込めました。

素材の選定においては、人工的な模様や均一性を持つものではなく、 なるべく自然な表情が感じられるものを採用することによって、 ゆらぎやにじみといった不完全な要素が時間とともに暮らしに馴染んでいくことを意図しています。

都会の中で自然を感じながら自分自身のスタイルを見つけられることのできる、 そんな空間となることを期待しています。

This renovation project is all about creating a cozy, nature-inspired retreat right near Yoyogi Hachimangu and Yoyogi Park where you can enjoy greenery through the windows—an oasis of calm, nestled in the heart of the city. 

The space is about 40㎡, where the original partition walls were removed to create a continuous, open area that allows sunlight to pour in freely, making the whole room feel bright and airy. 

The way the light changes throughout the day, shifting with the weather and the time, brings subtle moods and character into the living space. 

The floor is covered with soft wool carpet offering a pleasant texture and comfortable feel. Its texture also brings back that nostalgic charm of Japanese living, where people naturally sit right on the floor. Instead of setting fixed seating areas with sofas and chairs, we designed the entire room to feel like one big, comfortable living space. There’s plenty of freedom in how furniture is arranged, with the heartfelt intention of reflecting the resident’s individuality even within a compact space 

Instead of artificial patterns and uniform designs, we chose natural textures that carry subtle imperfections—gentle waves, soft blurs—that gradually become part of everyday life, blending seamlessly into the space over time. 

This space is designed to help residents discover their own style—to truly unwind, reconnect with nature, and embrace their own lifestyle.
